In its efforts to get ever-so-closer to the badminton fans and bring them exclusive content of the sport that they so love – the Badminton World Federation will soon be launching the Badminton4U app. Available on all major app stores, the mobile application will be the first-of-its-kind to be launched by the BWF.
A statement by the sports’ governing body said that the app will be both unique and ground-breaking, and will include real-time match center data, as well as exclusive back-stage pass content. The app will be available in a free-to-download format, said the BWF.
“Fans will be able to follow their favourite players, receive live scores as they happen and watch the latest and best badminton videos all in the palm of their hand,” the BWF said.
The app will be available from the 20th of September 2021, and the fans can register at https://bwfbadminton.com/badminton4u/ to get an advance notification on its availability.
Designed for a global and diverse audience, the Badminton4U digital platform will showcase badminton content from across the globe and will initially be offered in English and simplified Chinese.
